10×10 was honored to publish Akira Hasegawa’s (photo editor of Fukase’s Ravens) essay on Japanese Photography in its most recent publication: 10×10 Japanese Photobooks.
Sadly, Hasegawa-san passed away shortly after submitting his essay. At a memorial ceremony at the famed photobook cafe/restaurant Megutama in Tokyo the other day, Atsushi Fujiwara shared Hasegawa’s essay in the recent 10×10 Japanese Photobooks publication with photo critic Kotaro Iizawa, Shashin-Jidai Editior in Chief Suei-san and Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography Curator Ryuichi Kaneko.
